Large fern, in upright clump, 1m to 1,50 m tall. The rhizome is short-creeping. The herbaceous lamina is triangular-ovate, deeply bipinnate-pinnatifid, light-green, matt, covered with grayish white hair. The stipe is long and green-glaucus. Sori are small and round, indusia very small or hidden. It is a tropical and subtropical fern that loves moist areas, it is considered invasive in tropical climate. Hardiness : -3°C/-4°C.
