The fronds are glossy, lanceolate, light green, bipinnate, arranged in a symmetrical crown, and bear tiny bulbils at the apex. The croziers are woolly and white. It likes cool, drained, acidic and humusy soils, in shade. Height : 60/80cm. Hardiness : -20°C.
