Origin : temperate and cold zones of the northern hemisphere, rare and protected.

The fronds are lanceolate, bipinnate, green, glossy, flexible, cloaked with thin scales, and arranged in a regular cone. Its croziers are white and woolly. This species prefers cool, acidic soils, rich in compost, in the shade. It dislikes excessive heat. Height : 50/60cm. Hardiness : -35°C. Rare and protected.
