 Differs from the species, by its pinnae regularly incised, and the fans of crested foliage at the apex. Glossy brown stipes and rachis. Narrow, once pinnate blades are linear with 20 or 30 pairs of round to oblong, matt green pinnae; forming dense rosettes. Sori and indusia are arranged in an Herringbone pattern. Plant in a chalky or acidic, well drained soil in shade or medium shade. Evergreen. Height : 5/20cm. Hardiness : -30°C.
