Christella

The genus Christella includes 20 to 50 species, native to tropical and subtropical aeras. The genus Christella belongs to the Thelypteridaceae family. The Christella, especially Christella dentata looks a lot like the Thelypteris : Pinnate and lobate fronds, light green, tender texture, slender, on a creeping rhizome.

    Delicate and soft fern. the rhizome is shortly creeping. The fronds are broadly ovate to oblong, pale green to yellow-green, all parts clad in soft velvety hairs. This fern needs moisture in shade or half shade. Deciduous. Height:40/80cm. Hardiness:-8/-10°C.
