The pinnae fork at their point of attachment to the rachis; the criss-crossed pinnae form the letter V. Tips of pinnae and frond are crested. It enjoys acidic or slightly alkaline soils, cool and moist, in shade. Deciduous. Height and width : 50cm. Hardiness : -20°C.
