Hybrid between P. proliferum and P. braunii. Sturdy fern which forms an impressive crown on a scaly rhizome. The fronds are lanceolate, bipinnate, medium green, glossy. This hybrid can be propagated from the bulbils at the apex of its fronds. It is one of the largest Polystichum. It likes cool and drained soils, acidic or slightly alkaline, in medium shade. Evergreen. Height : 80/120cm. Hardiness : -20°C.
