Epiphytic and epilithic fern. The rhizome is slender, scaly, branching and long-creeping. The evergreen fronds are dimorphic, entire, upright, thick textured. Sterile fronds are elliptic, 2 to 3cm long. Fertile fronds are lanceolate and longer.The underside is densely coated with white, then cinnamon scales. The top is covered with thin hair. Slow growing fern for rockeries, in light shade or sun, in container in a good-draining mix, inside. Height : 2 to 5cm. Hardiness : -15°C.
