 Epiphytic and epilithic fern. The rhizome is slender, scaly, branching and long-creeping. The evergreen fronds are monomorphic, entire, upright, thick textured and coriaceous. The lamina is widest below middle, base rounded-cuneate. The apex is attenuate to long caudate. The underside is densely coated with white scales, then cinnamon or tan at maturity. The top is covered with thin hair. Rachis and veins are brown. Slow growing fern for cool rockeries, in bright shade, or in container in a good-draining mix, inside. Height : 25cm. Hardiness : -15°C.
